Webshop order confirmation and shipping
We offer three secured payment methods: iDeal, Paypal, or bank wire transfer. If you choose to purchase via bank wire transfer, we will prepare for shipment once the payment is received.
Orders usually dispatch from The Netherlands within one week. Shipping within Europe, please allow 5-7 working days for delivery from date of shipment. For deliveries outside the Eurozone 5-14 working days.
Fine Art Prints will be packed in heavy duty square tubes or flat depending on size. Original artwork will be packed flat. We make sure all artwork is wrapped thoroughly and safe for shipping.
Postage is usually calculated prior to payment at the checkout and varies depending on the contents of your order and the destination of the delivery. Shipping will be executed with a trusted delivery service, a tracking number will be provided.
Import Duties / Local Taxes
Please note that local charges (sales tax, customs duty) may occur, depending on your region and local customs duties. These charges are at the customers own expense.
Please keep in mind that the colors of artworks might differ from those onscreen. We try to capture the colors precisely but any monitor is calibrated differently. The way the artwork leaves the studio is the way Frank Verbrugge intended it to be.
Frank Verbrugge sometimes works on vintage paper. The bleaching and yellowing of the paper that might occur is part of the artistic process. Obviously all media used such as inks, watercolors, acrylics etc. are lightfast. Original artworks are unique pieces of art and always signed and dated, sometimes titled on the verso.
Fine Art Prints
All offered Fine Art Prints are archival quality giclée print on high quality acid free paper. All prints are signed, numbered and dated on the front.
Commissioning an artwork
On receipt of a commission we will provide you with a specification, an approximate timeschedule for delivery and a price for the artwork + delivery.
On completion of your custom artwork, you will be sent pictures via email. To a certain degree, adjustments can be made based on the client’s wishes. In order to pay for the artwork, we set up a custom item in our webshop or send you a quote. On receipt of your final payment we will make arrangements for the delivery of your artwork. Please note that the custom artworks must be paid in € (EUR) therefore the price for a commission may change due to fluctuations in exchange rates if you are completing the transaction in another currency.
When you purchase an artwork, you become the owner of the physical piece. The copyright remains with Frank Verbrugge. You may not rework or reproduce the image without written consent of Frank Verbrugge.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase you can return the artwork within 28 days. You are responsible for ensuring the item is returned to Frank Verbrugge in its original state and without any damage. The buyer must assume the cost of the return postage.
Please inform us before returning any items. Delivery charges are not refunded.
Make sure to include contact information with the return and provide us with a tracking number. We will make a refund of eligible returns after receiving and checking the condition of the returned good.
Please note that if you paid for an item using PayPal, PayPal may charge you for return of funds and any charge incurred is not covered by Frank Verbrugge.
In the unlikely event of an issue with the quality of the product or if you received the wrong product, Frank Verbrugge will resolve the situation to your satisfaction as quickly as possible. Please contact us to explain your specific queries and agree to a course of action.
If a returned item is shipped international, please clearly mark the package 'RETURNED GOODS', to avoid any Customs charges. We are NOT responsible for any return Customs charges made. Any charges incurred are the responsibility of the customer.
Transport Lost or Damage
If the product is lost or you, upon receiving, notice that the item has been damaged during transport, you should immediately report this to us.
You can either refuse the shipment as [damaged – return to sender] or you can have the delivery company mark the tracking as [received damaged, subject to further inspection]. Please file the claim immediately! You also must keep all boxes and packing material. When you call you will need the tracking number of your box, a description of the damage, and its value. Please make photos of the damages package and send them to Frank Verbrugge with the info of your actions on it.
If you would like to have the artwork within a specific time please contact Frank Verbrugge for options. A priority surcharge may be applied.
Frank Verbrugge holds the right to cancel an order, if the price or any of the specifications of an item are not displayed correctly. If it’s too good to be true, it usually is!
